Pet sitters can initiate a booking for a pet owner client they have previously pet sat for. The pet sitter sets the details: the pet owner simply has to confirm and pay.
This is a handy way to make the booking process easier for a pet owner. For example, you can add an extra visit or dog walk if the pet owner’s holiday is extended and they have limited time to send you a new booking request.
To initiate a booking as a pet sitter, follow these steps on either the app or the website:
- Open a previous booking with the pet owner in your messages
- Select ‘book again’
- Select the service, dates, and pets you will be caring for. Note that the previous service you performed and the pets you cared for will be preselected, be sure to change it if necessary.
- Add a message to the pet owner.
- Select ‘send booking offer’.
- The pet owner will receive a notification that you have sent them a booking and will be able to respond and pay for the service. They can also decline the service if there has been a mistake.
