If you earn money through Pawshake - for example, by offering pet sitting, dog walking or boarding - you may need to declare this income when you file your taxes. As a plaform, we are required to report some basic income information to your local tax authority.
We know tax topics can be confusing, so this article explains what the UK Platform Reporting Regulations regulations mean for Pawshake sitters in the European Union.
Please note: Pawshake can’t give personal tax advice. If you’re unsure about your individual situation, it’s best to contact a local tax adviser or your national tax authority.
What do I need to do?
If UK Platform Reporting Regulations applies in your country, Pawshake will ask you to confirm or update your tax information in your account. We’ll clearly guide you through the process and let you know what’s needed - it only takes a few minutes.
Keeping your information accurate helps us keep things transparent, safe, and compliant with the law. It also means we can process your payments correctly and without delays: no hidden stuff, just clear and reliable records.
