If your credit card has changed, you can simply enter your new card number the next time you make a booking, following the steps at the payment gateway.
The data is not available to Pawshake, but it's stored by our payment provider Stripe in an encrypted way. However, if you wish to remove some previously used payment methods, please contact us and we can do that for you.
Please note: If you are booking a sitter more than 80 days in advance, our payment provider Stripe will automatically save your credit card details upon authorisation in order to charge you closer to the booking date. If you do not wish for your details to be saved automatically, you can confirm your booking once the last day of the booking is less than 80 days in the future.
If the payment method used for authorisation of a future booking is expired/lost/stolen, the payment will automatically fail, you will receive a notification from us and you will be able to re-start the payment to re-confirm your booking.
